Stuart has seen both sides of the business coin. He spent his first 10 years in insolvency, then used those skills for his next 10 years on the other side of business growth — working in corporate operational, commercial and financial roles.
Stuart’s leadership role in the successful bid for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games has evidenced his capacity to manage priorities and stakeholders and to drive effective outcomes for his clients. He led a business transformation of a $40M helicopter operator, and teamed up on two in-depth corporate transformations at an ASX-listed group and at a private company (both with revenue of $100+ million). While the big assignments can grab the headlines, Stuart enjoys leading and working with management in smaller business turnarounds.
Stuart is a Certified Practicing Accountant and Director of several businesses. Industries include transport and logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, events and tourism, fashion, aviation and recruitment.
